Now a quick caveat: this is may not be the ideal gift for your spouse’s birthday or anniversary. A better use of a restaurant gift card is when you want to do something nice for that person who you don’t know too well but know enough that you like them.

The amount of the gift card doesn’t matter much as it really is the thought that counts. Boston Market makes it really easy to buy these gifts because it can all be done online via Facebook. Start at the Boston Market site (bostonmarket.com) and look for the “Gift Cards” link. They’ve made it pretty easy.

Of course, another touch would be to pick up the actual gift card at the Boston Market restaurant and put it in envelope with a thoughtfully signed card. Either way, the recipient will appreciate the thought and effort. Just make sure they’re fans of Boston Market because this restaurant is certainly not for everyone, for example a vegan!

1. Search by fields. Complete the search fields (address, city, state, zip) and click Search. You don’t need to complete all the fields to perform a search. For example, you can just enter your zip code.
2. Search visually. Next to the search form there is a map of the U.S. Each state that offers a Boston Market location is a clickable link. Click on a state and you will find a map with icons representing each of the restaurants in that state.

You may find the second method of finding a Boston Market location a bit cumbersome. The map is not a user-friendly Google Map where you can click and drag the map to re-position it. Instead, it looks like the map is actually a static image (provided by Bing). Accompanying the map is a list of all the locations in that state. Each restaurant in the list has its own “Detailed Map” link that will show the exact location of that Boston Market. Once again, the results are presented in a static image — not exactly the most user-friendly in this day in age when Google Maps has spoiled us easy interactive maps.

For each Boston Market location, there is a “Order Online” link that opens a new window to the Boston Market online ordering system hosted by SnapFinger. Here you can place a pick-up order for a specific location. Handy indeed. However, from a usability perspective, visitors to the Boston Market website looking to place an online order won’t be thinking “I need to find a Boston Market location to place my pick-up order.” Instead, they’ll probably be thinking “I need to place a pickup-order”. Ultimately, that means that very few people will be clicking those “Order Online” links placed in the locations finder.

The Boston Market signature chicken is delicately marinated with a delicious blend of herbs, spices, garlic and assorted peppers. It is slow-roasted to absolute perfection until the skin is crispy. Boston Market recommends having the chicken with a simple pasta marinara and spinach.

The chicken comes in various portion sizes from 1/4 to 1/2. You can also choose between white and dark meat. The chicken is delicately roasted until it’s a perfect golden brown and locking in the natural chicken juices.

Rotisserie Turkey
Some people say turkey is dry. It’s not the when done right by Boston Market! The secret is continually basting the chicken periodically to capture all the flavor. It is definitely moist and delicious.

Angus Meatloaf
If you’re a fan of mama’s meatloaf then you’ll love Boston Market meatloaf. It’s not made from low grade ground beef. This is pure Angus beef, combined with breadcrumbs, perfect seasoning, onions, tomato, and smothered in ketchup. Choose between tomato sauce or classic beef gravy.
